KSG acquires DAMM Environmental, strengthening its presence in the United Kingdom

Scotland's leading drainage and specialist environmental company joins KSG through its UK platform, Defluo Group, adding scale to the Group's Infrastructure line of business.

KSG has completed the acquisition of DAMM Environmental, the leading independent drainage and specialist environmental company in Scotland. The transaction was executed through Defluo Group, KSG's platform in the United Kingdom, and represents a further step in the Group's strategy to build a leading European platform for essential infrastructure and environmental services.

DAMM Environmental employs more than 120 people and operates a fleet of over 50 specialist vehicles. Its integration strengthens KSG's presence in the United Kingdom and reinforces the Group's position as a leading pan-European provider of drainage, sewer maintenance and industrial cleaning services.

Why drainage and the United Kingdom, and why now

Drainage and sewer networks are among the most critical assets of any city or industrial site. Ageing infrastructure, more frequent extreme weather events and stricter environmental regulation are increasing the need for regular inspection, cleaning and maintenance, as well as fast response when problems occur.

These services require specialised equipment, trained teams and the operational capacity to respond at any time. Customers, from utilities and local authorities to industrial and commercial clients, increasingly look for partners that can combine local presence with the resources of a larger group.

Scotland, with its extensive urban and rural networks and a demanding climate, is a natural market to strengthen these capabilities within KSG.

Defluo Group as the platform for integration

The acquisition was led by Defluo Group, which serves as KSG's platform in the United Kingdom. DAMM Environmental's regional coverage, specialist fleet and customer relationships complement Defluo's existing operations, extending the Group's reach across the country and creating opportunities to share expertise, equipment and best practices.
