The first Mökah depot — where the KSG story began in 1958

History & Growth

Growing by bringing leaders together.

KSG has grown by bringing together specialist local companies, geographic presence and complementary capabilities — connected by one common platform.

How we grow

Every new company makes the whole group stronger.

For us, acquisitions are never the story by themselves. They are how we extend what we can do for our customers.

01

More capabilities for customers

New specialists add services, equipment and know-how that the whole group can offer.

02

Greater geographic density

Closer to customers, with faster response times and strong regional hubs.

03

Deeper specialist expertise

Experts and best practices shared across companies and countries.

Where it all started.

Sewer cleaning in Switzerland since 1958 — the roots of today’s group.

Every thriving modern society relies on what remains invisible. Decades ago, our journey began not in boardrooms, but deep underground—confronting the harshest realities of European infrastructure. It took true resilience to pioneer an industry where others only saw hidden problems, setting the very standards of underground services with foundational pioneers like Mökah and keeping the vital, unseen arteries of our cities flowing.

From those first defining steps in Infrastructure, we realized that preserving the pulse of a changing Europe required more than maintaining pipes and networks. We expanded into the Industrial sector, delivering critical precision to the engines driving the continental economy. And because resilient infrastructure is inseparable from public well-being, we took the natural next step: Environmental Health, protecting water safety, urban ecosystems, and the communities we live in.

Today, KSG is not just the sum of its history. We are the integrated European force that safeguards our continent—from the depths of the underground to the air we breathe.
