KSG acquires Clearway Drainage Systems, expanding its presence in the United Kingdom

The UK drainage and wastewater specialist joins KSG through its UK platform, Defluo Group, adding scale to the Group's Infrastructure line of business.

KSG has completed the acquisition of Clearway Drainage Systems, a specialist UK provider of drainage and wastewater services. The transaction was executed through Defluo Group, KSG's platform in the United Kingdom, and represents a further step in the Group's strategy to build a leading European platform for essential infrastructure services.

Clearway delivers sewer cleaning, CCTV inspection, investigation and maintenance services to public-sector, commercial and industrial clients. Its integration expands Defluo's presence in the United Kingdom and reinforces KSG's position as a leading pan-European provider of drainage, sewer maintenance and industrial cleaning services, with operations in Switzerland, Germany, Belgium, the United Kingdom and the Netherlands.

Why drainage and the United Kingdom, and why now

Drainage and sewer networks are among the most critical assets of any city or industrial site. Ageing infrastructure, more frequent extreme weather events and stricter environmental regulation are increasing the need for regular inspection, cleaning and maintenance, as well as fast response when problems occur.
