The Kanalservice Group expands with the Mökah Group in Switzerland: New location in Bern as of January 2024
We are pleased to announce a further expansion of our subsidiary, the Mökah Group. As of January 2024, the Mökah Group will expand its operations with a new location in Belp, in the canton of Bern. This step marks an additional milestone in the Group’s ongoing growth strategy.
New branch in Belp, Bern
The expansion is the result of the acquisition of a facility from Arpe AG, which will fit seamlessly into the Mökah Group. This decision follows Arpe AG’s strategic decision to withdraw from the sewer cleaning and restoration business.
„The integration of the Belp facility into our group offers a unique opportunity to strengthen our presence in the region and deliver our services at a higher level,“ explains Petra Reinholz, CEO of KSG. „This expansion will allow us to deepen our offering in sewer maintenance and reach new customers at the same time.“
A key aspect of the takeover is the integration of the employees from the Belp site and some from the Buckten branch into the Mökah Group. „The employees are the heart of our company and we are determined to offer them a seamless transition and a warm welcome into the Mökah Group,“ adds Reinholz.
